Psychosocial hazards in the workplace refer to aspects of work and work situations that can lead to psychological or physical harm to workers. Examples include stress, fatigue, bullying, violence, aggression, harassment, and burnout. The inclusion of psychosocial hazards in the WHS Regulations means that – for many businesses – these risks need to be effectively managed.
