Employee Assistance Program (EAP)

Psychosocial hazards in the workplace refer to aspects of work and work situations that can lead to psychological or physical harm to workers. Examples include stress, fatigue, bullying, violence, aggression, harassment, and burnout. The inclusion of psychosocial hazards in the WHS Regulations means that farmers must effectively manage these risks. To assist farmers in meeting their obligations, our Operations Manager Marie Paterson, has developed the EAP which is a professional counselling program for our clients.

This counselling program enables farmers and their workers to address mental health concerns through in-person sessions or video conferencing. Prioritising the mental health of workers not only meets duty of care obligations under the Regulations but also ensures a supportive work environment.
