The New ProcessWorxShield Features That Simplify Compliance: HR Onboarding & Right to Work

Staying on top of HR paperwork and compliance requirements can be time-consuming, especially in busy, fast-moving industries like agriculture, trades, and logistics. That’s why we’ve added two powerful features to ProcessWorxShield, designed to streamline admin and help employers stay compliant.

Feature 1: HR Onboarding

The HR Onboarding feature was built to streamline your team’s HR paperwork. It’s purpose-built for managers who need to onboard staff quickly and correctly, without chasing forms or duplicate data entry.

  • HR-specific workflows: Designed to capture all required employment details during onboarding. It functions similar to training and induction sections, without needing a signature.
  • Smart verification: If key fields (such as financial details) are already filled in, the system automatically marks them as complete, reducing repetitive data entry.
  • Manager-only completion: Only admins and managers can complete the HR onboarding workflow, ensuring the process is overseen correctly.
  • Accessible to all (except contractors): All users except contractors can access and view their own onboarding status.

Feature 2: Right to Work

Having accurate and up-to-date records of every employee’s right to work in Australia is not just good practice, it’s a legal requirement. Our Right to Work feature helps you securely manage this information in one place, with built-in expiry tracking.

  • Centralised employment records: Located in the user’s Employment tab, alongside all other core employment data.
  • Expiry date tracking: Get ahead of renewals with built-in expiry reminders to avoid accidental breaches.
  • Controlled access: Only admins and managers can update or edit this section; all other users can view it, but it remains read-only to prevent unauthorised changes.

Note: Both features are not currently available via the mobile app and is exclusive to the HR Package.
