In this month’s ProcessWorxShield Tips and Tricks, we will focus on the topic of Custom Pages. Custom Pages allow users to organise and share their own documents and links within the ProcessWorxShield. This feature provides a convenient way to centralise and access important resources in a structured and user-friendly manner.
Creating Custom Pages
Users can create custom pages to serve as dedicated spaces for specific topics or projects. While these pages do not support rich text or multimedia content, users can add links to relevant websites or other resources, as well as upload their own documents, such as PDFs, Word files, and spreadsheets.
Folder Structure
To keep content organised, users can create a hierarchical folder structure. This allows them to group related pages together, making it easier to navigate through different sections. Folders and subfolders can be created, renamed, or removed, providing a flexible system to manage various types of documents and links.
Uploading Documents and Adding Links
Users can upload documents directly to a custom page, making them accessible to others who visit the page. Additionally, users can add links to external websites or other resources that are relevant to the content of the page. This makes it easy to share useful information or provide quick access to external documents and tools.
Overall, custom pages offer a streamlined way for users to manage and share documents and links, helping to keep resources organised and easily accessible within the ProcessWorxShield.
Reminder that only admins can create, edit and remove custom pages. All other user permissions can view these pages.
